Wordless Wednesday

Pictures of a tornado that touched down in Manitoba at Gull Lake on the weekend. It killed one woman, and critically injured another. Close family friends have cottages at Gull, and the tornado stopped short of their cottage.

A very tragic thing and not in a place where I would expect one. However, I never really expected them here where I live but I have been in town twice this summer when the tornado sirens have gone off....I felt very panicky and had no idea which way to go!

MAN OH MAN how scary is that? We had a tornado rip through downtown during evening traffic a few years back. Hit about 2 blocks over from hubby's office.

It is funny that I live in a high tornado area, and they terrify me! I will praying for those who have suffered from this one!

What a scary picture. I used to live in Texas where we had drills for tornados at school. scary!!.

That is a frightening picture. Tornados...defiantely nothing I ever want to come across. Thank goodness it didnt get to your friends cottage. So sad about the women it did get to though.
